Ralph Kou
With more than 15 years of professional expertise, Mr. Kou has a wide range of experience in restructuring and working with distressed clients, including liquidations, receiverships, business reviews, and restructuring advisory for both debtor and creditor groups.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Kou spent 15 years with a Big Four firm in London and Hong Kong, where he most recently served as Associate Director. Mr. Kou’s notable assignments include the liquidation of FTX Digital Markets, the restructuring of Hong Kong Airlines, and the schemes of arrangement for Sunac China Holdings Limited. Mr. Kou has worked with clients across various industries, including coal mining, airlines, real estate development, and cryptocurrency.
Mr. Kou earned a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in chemistry from Jesus College, University of Oxford. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) and earned the Specialist Qualification (Insolvency) from HKICPA.
Mr. Kou is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English.
