With over 12 years of international tax experience, spanning both consulting and in-house roles with leading investment management firms, Mr. Tan has holistic, hands-on expertise overseeing tax aspects across the full fund product life cycle for an investment manager. He brings a combination of technical and commercial insights to ensure coherence in tax strategy and practical implementation at each stage, from conceptualization and setup of fund, co-investment and managed account structures, through transaction structuring and tax due diligence for investment acquisitions and dispositions, to winding-up of funds and repatriation of proceeds.
