Tanmay Bhargav
With more than 16 years of forensic experience, Mr. Bhargav has led large and complex investigations involving fraud, bribery and corruption, financial misstatements, employee misconduct, and asset misappropriation. He has extensive experience dealing with regulators, law enforcement agencies, and the Competition Commission of India. He has worked with organizations in industries including automotive, construction, consumer goods, financial services, healthcare, infrastructure, manufacturing, media, technology, and transportation.
Mr. Bhargav has significant experience with complex dispute advisory engagements and has provided expert witness testimony related to shareholder disputes, computation of claims for loss of profits, business interruption, business valuation, and consumer claims, among others. He is also a subject matter expert on competition and antitrust matters.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Bhargav spent more than nine years with KPMG in India, where he most recently served as a Partner in its Risk Advisory practice. In this role, he led forensic services in infrastructure sectors across India and in antitrust cases.
Mr. Bhargav earned a postgraduate diploma in management (major in finance, strategy, and marketing) from the Indian Institute of Management and a master’s degree in finance from the London Business School. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He is fluent in English and Hindi.
