Q1 Insights
TAX HIGHLIGHTS
There have been a few Tax updates recently that CFOs have been reviewing.
Firstly, the OECD adopted a major update to its Model Tax Convention regarding remote cross-border working and when it could create a taxable presence for an employer.
Secondly, businesses within the Pillar 2 rules (broadly, those with consolidated global turnover in excess of EUR 750m), need to be aware of the extension of the transitional safe harbours for an extra year and a new permanent Effective Tax Rate safe harbour.
UK GAAP is changing
The Financial Reporting Council (FRC has issued amendments to Financial Reporting Standards 102, the financial reporting standard for the UK and Republic of Ireland.

We recently worked with a leading global technology platform after its acquisition by a consortium of private investors. We partnered with the client to deliver a comprehensive transformation across its back-office and the Finance functions.
With this transformation, we helped deliver run-rate EBITDA savings of approximately 180million EUR for the client.
