Mr. Knowles brings over 25 years of experience establishing and leading global operations across corporate and investment banking and retail banking. He has managed large-scale operations globally, overseeing 11,000 full-time equivalent staff and a cost base of $1.3 billion. He has deep expertise in driving operating model and process transformation, operational loss reduction, automation efficiency, and on-time execution across multiple strategic initiatives.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Knowles served as a Managing Director at JP Morgan. He also held other operator roles at Deutsche Bank, ABN AMRO Bank, and HSBC.

Mr. Knowles earned a master’s degree in economics from the University of Edinburgh.
