Agnieszka Zielińska is a Senior Advisor with Alvarez & Marsal Central Europe in Warsaw. She specializes in transaction advisory. Her primary areas of concentration are financial buy-side due diligence, vendor due diligence, and sale and purchase agreement (SPA) advisory. She also covers negotiations support, post-merger integration, and interim management services.

With more than 20 years of M&A experience, Ms. Zielińska has supported sellers and buyers in transactions conducted in Poland and other central and eastern European countries, as well as Polish companies investing in other parts of the world.

Ms. Zielińska’s notable assignments include projects for global private equity houses (including EQT, Advent International, KKR, Apollo Global Management, Viking Global Investors, Oaktree, and Cinven), regional private equity firms (including Enterprise Investors, Innova Capital, MidEuropa Partners, MCI Capital, Accession Capital Partners, Penta Investments, Hartenberg Capital, Highlander Partners, and Cornerstone Private Equity), large global corporations (including Axel Springer, Heinz, Energizer, Naspers/Prosus, Nationale-Nederlanden, and Panasonic), local corporations (including Orange, Allegro, Wirtualna Polska, Vectra AI, Pelion, Benefit Systems, and Tauron Polska Energia), and owners of mid-size local companies. She has worked with clients across various industries, including technology, media, and telecommunications (TMT), consumer products, industrials, healthcare, retail, payment processing, B2B services, and real estate.

Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Zielińska spent 18 years in M&A transaction support services with Deloitte and EY, including seven years in the role of Partner. She also spent two years as the Chief Financial Officer of a private equity-backed group of companies in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector.

Ms. Zielińska earned a master’s degree in finance and banking from the SGH Warsaw School of Economics. She is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
