Artur Tarnowski
Mr. Tarnowski specializes in transformational and business development projects, with proven international expertise across North America, Europe, and the Arabian Gulf countries. He has a strong track record of executing cross-border projects, expanding market presence, and advising C-suite executives and boards.
Mr. Tarnowski has co-developed and implemented strategies, corporate governance frameworks, and stakeholder relations programs that established several publicly traded companies as global leaders in their respective industries, including financial services, telecommunications, pulp and paper, and natural resources. His work has been focused on creating long-term value for shareholders while aligning business objectives with stakeholder interests.
Mr. Tarnowski has also brought a 360-degree perspective to strategic deliberations of company executives, ensuring alignment between business goals and stakeholder priorities.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Tarnowski served as the head of S&P Global Ratings in Central and Eastern Europe, where he conceptualized and executed an expansion strategy that positioned the firm as a leader in the region. He guided CEOs and senior executives of public companies on growth strategies, initial public offerings, debt capital markets financing, and board policies, including ethics and governance.
Mr. Tarnowski earned a bachelor’s degree in international business and marketing from New York University Stern School of Business. He also earned postgraduate diplomas in sustainable development and strategic finance from Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford and an MBA from the University of Calgary.
