David Goldberg is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Infrastructure & Capital Projects in São Paulo.

Mr. Goldberg brings more than 17 years of experience in transportation infrastructure and logistics, specializing in concession and public–private partnership (PPP) structuring, economic and financial analysis, market studies, and regulatory advisory. His primary areas of concentration include feasibility studies, demand and revenue forecasting, financial modeling, auction advisory, and supporting contractual rebalancing and claims. He has worked with clients across the airport, railway, port, urban mobility, and social infrastructure sectors.

At A&M, Mr. Goldberg has been deeply involved in public sector assignments, including leading and coordinating feasibility studies and concession structuring efforts for large-scale railway and mobility projects, regional airports, and PPPs in social and urban infrastructure. His responsibilities have included demand modeling, economic and financial assessments, business plan reviews, and technical support in regulatory discussions, rebalancing events, and dispute-related analyses for public authorities, multilateral development banks, and private investors.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Goldberg co-founded Terrafirma, a boutique consulting firm focused on transportation and logistics infrastructure in Brazil. As a Managing Partner, he led complex advisory engagements in this sector, including market studies and financial modeling for the concession of 50+ airports in Brazil across multiple rounds of the federal concessions program. These studies supported major transactions involving international operators and local groups and underpinned multibillion-dollar investment programs. Terrafirma was then acquired by A&M, reinforcing A&M’s infrastructure advisory capabilities in the region.

Mr. Goldberg earned a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in naval architecture and ocean engineering from the University of São Paulo, and an Executive MBA from IESE Business School. A Brazilian national, he is fluent in Portuguese and English.
