Lucas Teixeira
Mr. Teixeira’s primary areas of concentration are debt renegotiation and Chapter 11 process management. He brings over nine years of experience in corporate finance, strategic and financial planning, performance improvement, negotiation, and project management.
Mr. Teixeira’s notable assignments include financial restructuring and the renegotiation of a BRL 150+ million debt for a telecom supplier company, cost analysis and budgeting for a shipyard (as part of the restructuring of a large offshore service provider), and debt renegotiation for two different public transportation companies. Mr. Teixeira took part in the judicial recovery filing (Brazilian equivalent to Chapter 11) of an oil and gas company, with a total debt of approximately $5 billion. Mr. Teixeira has worked with clients across various industries, including telecommunications, shipbuilding, oil and gas, and transportation services.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Teixeira worked as Chief Financial Officer at an IT startup for almost one year. His main responsibilities included the financial planning and initial business plan of the company, controlling and cash management, contracts negotiation, and pricing.
Before this, Mr. Teixeira spent six years with Siemens in São Paulo, acting in different roles in the Greenfield Projects and Industrial Services business units on engineering and construction in a variety of industries, such as pulp and paper and marine. His activities comprised strategic and sales planning, projects performance management, and contracts negotiation. Mr. Teixeira was also responsible for performance improvement and planning projects at Siemens’ facilities.
Mr. Teixeira earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the Escola Politécnica at the University of São Paulo. He speaks fluent Portuguese and English and has knowledge of German.
