During the decade he has spent working in M&A tax, Mr. Feng has supported and advised on many key transactions in the Australian market, including private equity and corporate buy- and sell-side support, take-privates, and refinancings.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Feng spent more than 10 years with EY’s Australian Transaction Tax Advisory practice, primarily in Sydney. Notably, he also spent two years on the Australian transaction tax desk in New York, where he worked closely with the US practice to provide Australian support on significant cross-border transactions. Mr. Feng’s other notable assignments included: tax due diligence and structuring support for an inbound US private equity investment in an Australian-headquartered business; fund structuring and design for an Australian private equity fund; and tax advisory support for a portfolio company on a continuation fund transaction.

Mr. Feng earned a bachelor’s degree in commerce (majoring in finance) and a bachelor’s degree in law from the University of New South Wales. He also holds a law practicing certificate in Australia and is a member of the Law Society of New South Wales.
