Pavlo Myronov
Mr. Myronov has more than 22 years of international and domestic tax experience across Europe, the Middle East, and the US. He specializes in international tax, transfer pricing, tax controversy, mutual agreement procedure, advance pricing arrangement, and tax function transformation. Mr. Myronov focuses on tax technical excellence in marketing, delivery, quality assurance, and the learning and development of tax professionals, particularly within the Saudi market.
Mr. Myronov’s experience includes leading and supervising high-risk international tax and transfer pricing engagements, structuring global investment and operating models for multinational groups and sovereign wealth funds, and designing cross-border tax governance frameworks. He has extensive experience teaching and coaching tax professionals at all levels, creating technical training programs, and translating complex Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD)/G20 standards into practical guidance for emerging markets.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Myronov spent six years with the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) in Riyadh, where he most recently served as an advisor in the Large Taxpayers division. He led advisory support for complex international tax audits and controversies, oversaw capacity building, and served as a technical expert on several committees.
Before his work at ZATCA, Mr. Myronov spent over a decade in Big Four accounting firms. At EY Riyadh, he served as International Tax Director, advising on cross-border structuring, BEPS-aligned tax optimization, tax data platforms, and investment structures across the US, Middle East, North Africa, Europe, and Asia–Pacific. At KPMG Moscow and Kiev, he led engagements for major international clients in the energy, manufacturing, engineering, technology, and natural resources sectors.
Mr. Myronov earned a bachelor’s degree in international relations. He also earned a master’s degree in international private law from the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, a master’s degree in psychology from California Southern University, and an LLM in international tax law from King’s College London. He has an Advanced Diploma in International Taxation (ADIT). Mr. Myronov is proficient in English, Arabic, and Spanish, and is a native speaker of Ukrainian and Russian.
