With more than 13 years of transactions and audit experience, Mr. Leirana has deep expertise in the renewable energy sector, including solar, wind, hydropower, and combined heat and power (CHP). Notably, he has been involved in transactions involving emerging technologies such as hydrogen, batteries, and district heating. Mr. Leirana has assisted relevant players, including oil and gas companies, in their transition to a low-carbon future through investments and partnerships in the renewable sector.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Leirana spent 14 years in the Transaction Services department in PwC Spain.

Mr. Leirana earned a bachelor’s degree in law and business administration from CEU San Pablo University. Additionally, he earned a master’s degree in accounting audit services and finance from Comillas Pontifical University and a master’s degree in energy business (power and utilities and oil and gas) from the Spanish Energy Club (Enerclub). A native Spanish speaker, Mr. Leirana is also fluent in English.
