Kathie Resteiner
As an operating executive with more than 25 years of technology and semiconductor experience, Ms. Resteiner has driven large corporate development transactions, including numerous multibillion-dollar M&A integrations, as well as complex cross-border divestitures, carve-outs, and stand-ups. She has partnered with C-suites and boards to develop and execute strategic value-creation plans. Leveraging her deep functional expertise in manufacturing, supply chain, marketing, and operations, Ms. Resteiner successfully navigates ambiguity, solves problems, drives execution, and builds consensus across global teams.
Ms. Resteiner’s notable accomplishments include leading the separation of Intel’s $9 billion NAND business sale to SK Hynix, leading operational readiness for Mobileye’s $16 billion initial public offering, and leading integration planning for Intel’s proposed $6 billion acquisition of Tower Semiconductor. She was also Intel’s operating partner for strategic Intel portfolio companies IMS Nanofabrication and Altera, helping unlock value and setting the course for their long-term success.
Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Resteiner spent over a decade in Intel’s Corporate Development organization, most recently serving as Vice President and Head of Value Creation. In addition to executing complex transactions, she built and led the Value Creation Office, drove board-level communications related to M&A, and developed playbooks for integration, separation, and value capture. During her time at Intel, she was also Chief of Staff for Intel Capital and Emerging Growth & Incubation, led M&A integrations for Intel and McAfee, and served on the board of directors for cybersecurity startup Trinity Cyber. Early in her career, she held operational roles at VCE (the joint venture between VMware, Cisco, and EMC), Alcatel-Lucent, and Harris Corporation.
Ms. Resteiner earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial and systems engineering from Virginia Tech and a master’s degree in industrial engineering from St. Mary’s University, San Antonio. She currently serves on the board of trustees for St. Mary’s University and is a frequent keynote speaker at M&A conferences.
