Neto Alexander is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Private Equity Performance Improvement in Los Angeles. He specializes in EBITDA value creation for software, technology-enabled services, and business services companies undergoing standalone take-privates, corporate carve-outs, secondary buyouts, and complex M&A integrations.

With more than 20 years of experience across operational due diligence, pre-close value-creation planning, and post-close hands-on execution, Mr. Alexander partners with investors and management teams to translate investment theses into measurable operating results. His focus areas include cost optimization, synergy capture, operating model and organization redesign, and large-scale transformation leadership.

Mr. Alexander has led value-creation programs delivering $80–175+ million in EBITDA impact, including: more than $100 million in synergy realization during the merger of two HR software as a service (SaaS) companies; $150+ million in cost synergies and margin expansion for two B2C technology companies; an $80 million cost-reduction and organizational reset for a $2 billion payments technology provider; and a 10% EBITDA margin expansion for a business services platform through enterprise cost optimization. He has supported investors through major take-private diligence efforts, carve-out stand-ups, buy-and-build integration, and secondary transactions requiring incremental value creation beyond prior ownership.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Alexander was a Partner and Managing Director at AlixPartners, where he led value-creation, synergy, and operational transformation programs for private equity investors such as Apollo Global Management, Silver Lake, Insight Partners, and others. Earlier in his career he served with Bain & Company’s Private Equity Group, conducting commercial due diligence and strategy work across healthcare technology, information services, and consumer sectors. He began his career as a software developer at Equifax Workforce Solutions, where he built the technology and analytical foundation that now informs his approach to software and tech-enabled transformations.

Mr. Alexander earned a bachelor’s degree in information and decision sciences from the University of Illinois Chicago and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
