Correy Barnes
Mr. Barnes’ primary areas of concentration are deploying Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) technology applications, AI-driven process automation, interim leadership, and complex M&A integrations, as well as optimizing financial and operational systems and leading cross-functional teams.
Mr. Barnes’ notable assignments include being interim Chief Financial Officer for a private equity-backed e-commerce auto parts manufacturer and supplier, merger integration lead for a US-based oil field compression company, and merger integration lead for a Kansas City-based pharmaceutical company. He has worked across various industries, including private equity, pharmaceuticals, oil and gas, health and wellness, for-profit education, aerospace and defense, transportation and logistics, and wastewater treatment facilities.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Barnes spent several years in private equity investing and operations. Most recently, he was with Riveron Consulting in Houston, where he served as Senior Director of Business Transformation. Before that, he was the President and CEO of BA Wastewater Treatment, a private equity-backed full-service manufacturer and installer of pre-cast wastewater treatment facilities. His early career included being a Private Equity Analyst and Operating Partner for a secondary fund of New Mountain Capital, where he performed financial analysis, due diligence, and structured acquisitions in pursuit and management of portfolio companies.
Mr. Barnes earned a bachelor’s degree from Southern Methodist University and an MBA with concentrations in finance and international business from Lamar University. He has served in several board capacities, including on the finance committee for the Greater Houston Community Foundation and past board chair of BA Wastewater Treatment. He holds several licenses in wastewater treatment issued by the state of Texas (Registered Environmental Health Specialist/Registered Sanitarian, Registered Site Evaluator, Registered Installer II).
