Bryan Marsal is co-founder of Alvarez & Marsal - a global consulting firm that provides restructuring, performance improvement and M&A transaction services.

Bryan Marsal is a highly accomplished restructuring and turnaround expert, recognized for his exceptional leadership in navigating challenging and complex situations. Notably, Bryan served as the Chief Executive Officer of Lehman Brothers for three years, overseeing the largest bankruptcy in history. He has successfully led numerous high-profile engagements, including HealthSouth, Arthur Andersen LLP, Cluett American Corp., and Republic Health Corp.

Prior to co-founding Alvarez & Marsal, Bryan spent 7 years at Citibank and two years at Norton Simon.  He earned a B.B.A. and M.B.A. from the University of Michigan.  Bryan is actively involved in the University of Michigan School of Business, where he sits on the advisory board.
