Vincenzo Molè is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Financial Services Industry Group in Milan. He assists financial institutions in moving toward higher capital efficiency standards and developing advanced analytics to support innovative use cases.

Mr. Molè has more than 20 years of extensive experience in credit and climate risk modeling for banking credit portfolios. He has been involved in several internal model inspections, as well as targeted reviews of a wide range of internal risk models (from low- to high-default portfolios, including wholesale, project finance, and retail asset classes).

With extensive experience in model risk and methodological advisory throughout the entire internal ratings-based risk, IFRS 9, and climate risk program lifecycles, Mr. Molè has contributed to developing and validating several credit risk models for regulatory, accounting, and managerial purposes.

Mr. Molè’s background prior to A&M merges financial, accounting, statistics, and data management with managerial skills, allowing him to hit targets in different projects and company environments. He was previously involved in executive committees (e.g., model risk, risk measurement, group risk, and board risk) and is able to translate technical outcomes into strategic and business indications for nontechnical audiences.

Mr. Molè earned two master’s degrees, one in business and administration and one in risk management, from Bocconi University, Milan.
