Daniel Simon

With more than 20 years of experience in tax across the financial services industry, Mr. Simon has worked with global banks, private equity firms, and hedge funds. He has a deep understanding of complex financial instruments, business transactions, and corporate treasury derived from both front-office investment bank experience and advisory roles.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Simon spent over eight years as a Partner in PwC’s Banking and Capital Markets group in New York. His practice at PwC specialized in structuring global business operations for clients across the financial services sector, with a particular focus on the interaction of regulatory and tax requirements in various jurisdictions. Before PwC, he gained experience in originating and executing structured finance transactions while working in the front office of a global investment bank.
Mr. Simon earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in accounting (concentration in taxation) from the University of Florida. Mr. Simon is a registered Certified Public Accountant in the states of Florida and New York, as well as a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
