Anton Stetsenko is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Energy in Dallas. He supports public and private equity-owned clients across the electric and gas value chain. His primary areas of concentration are enterprise transformation, business and go-to-market strategy, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) diligence and integration.

With 15 years of experience across the energy, power, utilities, chemicals, and infrastructure sectors, Mr. Stetsenko is a recognized leader in strategy, operational transformation, and M&A execution. In the last five years alone, he has delivered over $500 million in annual impact, partnering with leading U.S. energy, chemicals, and utility enterprises, as well as private equity-backed businesses. He has led multimillion-dollar initiatives that directly improved financial performance, operational resilience, and capital efficiency. He has worked extensively across North America, Europe, and emerging markets, bringing a truly global perspective to energy and infrastructure leadership.

His experience spans the full life cycle of energy investments and operations, from growth strategy and M&A execution to operational turnaround and capital productivity. Notable engagements include leading a large-scale transformation for a top-tier U.S. utility, delivering $100+ million in recurring savings for a global petrochemical manufacturer through a procurement transformation, and advising on go-to-market strategy for a leading power equipment manufacturer entering the U.S. market.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Stetsenko spent 10+ years at McKinsey & Company, where he was an Associate Partner in the Energy practice, advising Fortune 500 companies, infrastructure operators, and investors. Previously, he spent two years at Roland Berger, focusing on private equity-backed industrials and infrastructure assets.

Mr. Stetsenko earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Kyiv National Economic University and a master’s degree in finance from Warwick Business School. He has completed Chartered Financial Analyst Level III. A Ukrainian citizen, he speaks fluent Ukrainian and Russian.
