Marieanne Nanson

Over the course of her consulting career, Ms. Nanson has helped organizations achieve significant cost savings, futureproofed their business processes and systems, streamlined operations, and merged companies after transactions. Her notable assignments include: leading the development of the strategy and implementation of global solutions for a Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) conglomerate, including transitioning 1,000+ roles to Egypt and India across all back-office functions; leading the $150 million cost-savings program for a global consumer goods company by identifying the costs of each process using component business modeling, analyzing several hypotheses for cost reduction to arrive at a robust program, and managing the implementation of these reductions in Finance; and designing the operating model for two global consumer goods businesses to achieve their post-merger goals.
Ms. Nanson is an expert in the field of shared services and outsourcing and has led multiple shared services implementations across all support functions, geographies, and several sectors.
With a client-centric approach, Ms. Nanson believes in understanding each organization’s unique needs and goals to develop and deliver their specific strategies. She believes that programs are successful when the key stakeholders are part of the program and can see regular traction and success. Her many years of consulting in the GCC have provided her with a network of companies and professionals who are always available to provide solutions and advice.
Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Nanson held Partner positions with KPMG (London), Accenture (London and Abu Dhabi), and most recently IBM (Dubai). She started her career in a global manufacturing company as a Financial Controller.
Ms. Nanson earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Liverpool. She has been a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants since 1998.
