SITUATION

• Hochdorf operated under a highly-leveraged debt structure which had become unsustainable and in need of restructuring.
  The Company had approximately over CHF200m of financial indebtedness and was listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange.
   

A&M ROLE AND OUTCOME

• A&M acted as the lead financial advisor to the Board and Management, executing a comprehensive and intricate sale transaction involving its operating subsidiary, HOCHDORF Swiss Nutrition AG (“HSN”) where there was significant interest from both trade and financial investors.
• The transaction was structured as a pre-pack under Switzerland’s debt restructuring moratorium (“Nachlassstundung”) and was successfully concluded with the sale of HSN to AS Equity Partners.
