UK-headquartered specialist designer and manufacturer of LED Lighting. The Aurora Group had operations in the UK, Europe, South Africa and Asia.

SITUATION

• The Group was loss-making from 2019 as a result of the global pandemic, increasing costs and uncertainty surrounding the supply chain.

A&M ROLE AND OUTCOME

• A&M was engaged to explore funding options for the group. As part of our engagement we supported stakeholder management and lender reporting. 
   
• Latterly, our scope was extended to also assist with short-term cash reporting and contingency planning should funding options not be identified. 
   
• Following an extensive accelerated sales process a business and asset sale was completed for the Group’s UK trade business which preserved employment and delivered value for stakeholders. 
   
• A&M completed an orderly wind down of the Group’s UK Projects business.
