SITUATION

• Following a period of rapid growth, the client was experiencing short-term funding requirements driven by poor credit control processes and significant accrued work-in-progress.

A&M ROLE AND OUTCOME

A&M was engaged in an advisory capacity to support the client across a variety of matters, including;

• review of forecast and weekly support with short-term cashflow monitoring

• Assisting management to launch and deliver an accelerated sale in which targeted financial investors were approached in a short timeframe; and

• undertaking contingency planning and advising the Board of the options available in an insolvency scenario.

The advisory/accelerated sale process resulted in full repayment of the senior lender and a solvent rescue of the business to a financial investor.
