With more than 20 years of diverse experience advising private equity owned and public companies, Mr. Verville uses his understanding of the interdependencies of people, processes, and systems to drive improved EBITDA, enhance liquidity, and minimize risk in highly complex situations.
Mr. Verville’s notable engagements include serving as interim CFO of a $400 million healthcare company undertaking a total business transformation, including divesting business units, executing multiple stalled initiatives, and unlocking and maximizing liquidity. He was a Financial Advisor to a $1 billion private equity portfolio company, building a cash culture across client operations and designing, training for and implementing a working capital reduction program.
Previously, Mr. Verville was interim VP FP&A for a $1.6 billion home furnishing retailer and advised a $3.0 billion clothing retailer, a $1.3 billion appliances retailer, and a private equity carve-out of a ~$500 million cosmetic company. He was also the VP Finance and Treasurer of a $700 million public company, leading the cross-functional business performance improvement team that identified and implemented key business transformation initiatives.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Verville spent over 15 years with AlixPartners, was the VP Finance & Treasurer for Layne Christiansen, and worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers in restructuring. He started his career in audit with Arthur Andersen.
Mr. Verville earned bachelors’ degree in commerce and economics (honors) from the University of Alberta and an MBA from Northwestern University – J.L. Kellogg School of Management. He was a Captain in the Canadian Army Reserves, serving in Infantry, Logistics and Combat Engineering units. Mr. Verville is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.
