Mr. Hunt brings extensive experience serving private equity sponsored healthcare services investments in sectors such as primary care, eye care, dental, radiology, plastic surgery and home health. He also brings expertise in mergers and acquisitions, including operational due diligence, carve-out and integration planning and execution.
Most recently, Mr. Hunt served a multi-site, physician practice management business in the plastic surgery sector in transforming their finance organization. He led implementation of cash to accrual and revenue recognition accounting, operational key performance indicator dashboard reporting and monthly operational and financial performance reporting.
Previously, Mr. Hunt served a $4.5 billion managed care organization in a divisional carve-out of their Medicare managed care business. He led the Day 1 readiness planning; transition services agreement development and post-close tracking; and command center operations, resulting in no disruption to day-to-day operations. Additionally, Mr. Hunt has served healthcare clients in converting and consolidating disparate general ledgers; implementing financial close process improvements that reduce days to close; and introducing corporate budgeting, forecasting and metrics-based management processes that enhance corporate controls and performance.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Hunt served as Chief Financial Officer of a home medical equipment company, where he oversaw the finance, human resources, purchasing and IT departments, helping to improve operations and increase value through numerous strategic and operational initiatives. He has also served in various roles within private equity, investment banking and commercial banking.
Mr. Hunt earned a bachelor's degree in business economics and public policy from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. He is a designated Charted Financial Analyst.
