Giovanni Zoppetti

Recently, Mr. Zoppetti supported a leading IT services provider in Italy (€1.2 billion sales) by strengthening the finance function during a transformation period resulting from the implementation of a significant organizational change toward a matrix model. This included support in FY23 budget process completion and managing finance and accounting integration of two recently acquired companies.
Previously, Mr. Zoppetti coordinated the accounting and controlling department of a leading luxury travel retailer (€170 million in sales), where he managed the day-to-day activities and identified and implemented improvements in the accounting and financial reporting processes. Earlier, he provided interim management services to the extraordinary commissioner of an Italian security services (€60+ million sales) player, overseeing the company’s finance department.
Prior to this, Mr. Zoppetti led the finance department maturity assessment and transformation review of a five-star Italian hotel chain (€100+ million sales) with hotels in important Italian and European art cities and business centers that was acquired by a private equity fund. He advised Culligan EMEA (€100+ million in sales), a U.S. PE owned global provider of water treatment products, acting as interim controller, designing and leading the successful implementation of a management accounting system.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Zoppetti spent three years with F.W. Smith, Riches & Co. in London. He also spent three years with the audit department of PricewaterhouseCoopers in Milan, where he was responsible for budgets and completion of audits and reviews of multinational corporations, as well as small and mid-sized companies, drawing up financial statements using IFRS, U.K. GAAP and U.S. GAAP.
Mr. Zoppetti earned a bachelor’s degree in business economics from Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi in Milan and an MBA from SDA Bocconi School of Management. An Italian national, he is fluent in English.
