Wright Lassiter has been on a mission, as President and CEO of Henry Ford Health, to improve healthcare equity within the organization and community but also more broadly across the nation. In one of his most recent strides toward change, Mr. Lassiter helped achieve a one hundred percent endorsement from the American Hospital Association board to launch a framework to support hospitals and health systems in efforts to become more equitable organizations. He continues to push for broader, innovative thinking for new solutions and outside the box interventions for addressing this crucial problem facing healthcare today.

Now, as Mr. Lassiter is set to embark on a new journey in his career, he sat down with A&M Healthcare Industry Group’s Senior Advisor, David Shulkin, M.D., to discuss his drive for eliminating healthcare inequities and disparities and to share the progress and lasting impact he has made in the communities that Henry Ford Health serves.
