Ascension's Post-Pandemic Strategic Plan to Transform Healthcare

The unprecedented impact of COVID-19 caused health systems to have to pivot and adjust their operations accordingly. Ascension, a system inclusive of 142 hospitals and more than 2,600 sites of care, was no different. As they reflected on the pandemic, they developed five core pillars of focus for their strategic plan. Craig Cordola, FACHE, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, of Ascension, joined A&M Healthcare Industry Group’s Larry Kaiser, M.D., FACS, Managing Director, and David Shulkin, M.D., to share his vision and focus for his system.

Mr. Cordola is looking through a different lens and honing in on providing a high-quality customer experience for his patients, through a seamless integrated approach, leveraging partnerships and innovation to deliver.
