Jeff Liu

Mr. Liu brings more than 20 years of financial experience in advisory service, management, and as an investment professional across a wide range of industries. He focuses on assessing cash flow and liquidity, reviewing and preparing business plans, analyzing business unit profitability, and developing restructuring and reorganization strategies.
Mr. Liu’s notable engagements include advising Silicon Valley Bank Financial Group, a diversified financial services company, where he served as Treasurer; Global Eagle Entertainment (now Anuvu), a leading provider of media, content, and connectivity services across air, sea, and land customers; Forever 21, a global fast fashion retailer; JH Capital Group, a specialty finance company; and the first lien lenders of Waypoint Leasing, a global helicopter leasing company.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Liu was Senior Vice President, Head of Business Development, and Treasurer with General Wireless (dba RadioShack), where he optimized retail operations, led new strategic partnership initiatives, and managed day-to-day liquidity planning and cash management functions. He also assisted the company in navigating its second Chapter 11 filing.
Previously, Mr. Liu spent eight years with several hedge funds analyzing and investing in securities of businesses across the capital structure in a variety of industries. He started his career as an investment banking analyst with Bank of America Securities’ healthcare group, focusing on mergers and acquisitions and capital raising transactions.
Mr. Liu earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.
