Pinky Law is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Restructuring & Turnaround in Vancouver, British Columbia. She specializes in formal and informal restructuring and insolvency mandates, and has acted as Advisor to corporate debtors, boards, lenders and other stakeholders facing financial difficulties.

With more than 10 years of restructuring experience, Ms. Law has conducted independent business reviews and viability assessments of debtors on behalf secured lenders, as well as both informal and formal insolvency and restructuring proceedings. She has worked with clients across various industries, including financial services, retail, mining, forestry, energy, business services and manufacturing.

Ms. Law’s notable assignments include acting as court-appointed Monitor of Miniso Canada Investments Inc., et al, the Canadian operations of an international retail chain; court-appointed Receiver of 102036378 Saskatchewan Ltd. o/a Spareparts, a national retail chain; court-appointed Monitor of Sunniva Inc. (CSE: SNN), et al, a group of companies in the cannabis business; and court-appointed Receiver of Ivanhoe Energy Inc. (TSX: IE; NASDAQ: IVAN), a public oil and gas company.

Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Law spent 11 years with Big Four audit and restructuring groups in Hong Kong and Canada.

Ms. Law earned a bachelor’s degree in social sciences from the University of Hong Kong. She is a Certified Public Accountant (Hong Kong), Chartered Accountant and Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional, and a Licensed Insolvency Trustee. Ms. Law is a member of INSOL and the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation and is a Director of the Turnaround Management Association (Northwest Chapter). She is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin and has conversational proficiency in Japanese.
