Jim Childress

Mr. Childress is an accomplished technology leader with 35+ years of experience. His deep understanding of IT operations allows him to advise clients on the integration of emerging technologies, such as cloud-based platforms and AI-enabled tools, to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency. He has a proven track record of delivering first-class technology outcomes across a diverse set of industries, including legal, professional services, media, and healthcare.
Mr. Childress has led multiple large-scale IT cost-reduction initiatives for global firms by redesigning operating models, rationalizing systems, renegotiating vendor contracts, and optimizing organizational structures. Notably, he directed the service delivery realignment and IT ecosystem simplification for a global organization, improving operational efficiency and user satisfaction. He also led a large-scale modernization initiative to achieve a scalable solution for a firm’s global technology operations.
Mr. Childress’ other notable assignments and engagements include: serving as Interim VP of IT Operations for a technical services organization, stabilizing operations, reducing costs, and enhancing IT performance; and realigning and stabilizing a global IT organization to dramatically improve delivery outcomes and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Mr. Childress earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Rutgers University, a master’s in systems architecture and engineering from the University of Southern California, and an MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles Anderson School of Management.
