Ed Mosley

Bringing more than 20 years of restructuring experience, Mr. Mosley is an experienced advisor to creditors and companies in distressed and bankruptcy situations. He has worked with both private and public companies across various industries, including oil and gas, manufacturing, transportation, automotive, retail, industrial construction, telecommunications, healthcare and direct sales.
Mr. Mosley’s notable assignments include serving as Chief Restructuring Officer to Exide Technologies, a $3 billion global battery manufacturer, during its most recent Chapter 11 bankruptcy. His financial advisory assignments include Seadrill Limited, Valaris plc, Diamond Offshore Drilling, Imerys Talc America, Magnum Hunter Resources, Southcross Energy, Key Energy Services, Halcon Resources, Azure Midstream, Aurora Bank (subsidiary of Lehman Brothers), Vitro America, Visteon Corporation, and Chesapeake Corporation.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Mosley served as interim management for Home Interiors & Gifts, Inc., Highland Capital Management’s largest private equity investment. He was responsible for all financial and strategic planning and worked in China to create a sourcing agency for the company’s products. Previously, Mr. Mosley served as a vice president at Barrier Advisors, LP, Highland Capital Management’s workout advisory arm, as the hedge fund executed its loan-to-own strategies through secured and unsecured debt trading.
Prior to that, Mr. Mosley spent four years with Chanin Capital Partners, a premier restructuring advisory firm for unsecured creditors in distressed and bankruptcy situations. Representative transactions there included Washington Group International, Global Crossing Ltd., Doskocil Manufacturing Company, NCS Healthcare, Trend Technologies, American Classic Voyages, and United Artists Entertainment.
Mr. Mosley earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Harvard University. He has been recognized as a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor by the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors (AIRA) and serves on AIRA's Board.
