Appointment
On 2 June 2022, the Federal Court of Australia (“the Court”) ordered for Ascent Investment and Coaching Pty Ltd (“Ascent Company”) to be placed into Provisional Liquidation. (Proceeding no: WAD276/2021)
On 21 April 2023, the Court ordered for the Ascent Company and the Unregistered Managed Investment Scheme that was run by the Ascent Company (“the Scheme”) to be placed into liquidation, and for the Ascent Trust to be placed into receivership. (Proceeding no: WAD276/2021)
On 24 May 2023, Dunjey Property Pty Ltd (“Dunjey Property”) was placed into liquidation pursuant to resolution made under Section 490 of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) by Dunjey Property’s sole shareholder representative.
On 1 June 2023, the Court ordered for the Ascent Company, the Ascent Trust and the Scheme be placed into receivership. In respect of the Ascent Trust, these latter orders acted as confirmation of the previous Orders on 21 April 2023 to place the Ascent Trust into receivership. (Proceeding no: WAD276/2021)
On 18 October 2023, the Court ordered for Dunjey Property Trust, Dunjey Property Trust No. 2, Dunjey Property Trust No. 3 and Dunjey Property Trust No. 4 be placed into receivership. (Proceeding no: WAD 218/2023)
On 2 June 2025, Mr Sean Holmes moved firms to Alvarez & Marsal Australia (“A&M”). He remains as the Liquidator and Receiver and Manager of the Ascent Group and will continue to administer these roles at A&M.
