The A&M EMEA COVID-19 Response Fund was introduced during the pandemic to support charitable causes across EMEA which are helping alleviate the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
There is no doubt the impact of COVID-19 has been vast and has affected people’s lives in a variety of ways. A&M has set out to support a broad range of charities through fundraising initiatives to care for those who have been hit the hardest during the pandemic. We are thrilled to assist in these varied initiatives and look forward to bettering our communities through these partnerships as we all recover from the impact of the pandemic.
A&M has so far raised over €90,000 towards our €100,000 fundraising target for charities through various fundraising activities in 2020 and 2021.
Below is a sample of some of the incredible charities A&M has supported so far:
A Fond La Vie: A France-based charity that organises excursions and activities for disabled 18-35-year olds.
Arche Zurich (CH): Promotes the social and professional integration of adults struggling with addiction, mental illness and unemployment.
Asociación Nazaret: Provides food to the disadvantaged and homeless in the San Blas neighbourhood in Madrid.
Banco De Alimentos Madrid: The largest food bank in Spain, Fundación Banco de Alimentos de Madrid, provides food to disadvantaged families and individuals through social and charitable organisations.
CBM Italy: Supports children with CHARGE syndrome by providing rehabilitation, educational and recreational services.
Meals on Wheels: Based in the Cayman Island, the Meals on Wheels foundation delivers meals to seniors. In response the need to for food security, Meals on Wheels delivered 72,438 hot meals to those in need, your donation helped provide 200 of those meals!
Paris en compagnie: Connects senior citizens with younger companions to fight against elderly isolation.
Praksis: Based in Greece, Praksis supports the homeless through providing free healthcare, accommodation, counselling and other support.
Sosteniamoci: Based in Milan, Sosteniamoci provides food and household goods to families in need.
Spieren voor Spieren (NL): Spieren voor Spieren facilitates diagnosis and treatment for children with muscle diseases and supports children with muscle diseases and their families including activities and special equipment.
The Access Project: Supports students from disadvantaged backgrounds to access some of the best universities in the U.K. through mentorship and tuition support.
