Munich, 11th June, 2025 – Global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) has appointed Christian Ramme as a new Managing Director in its Corporate Finance practice. The senior hire, made with immediate effect, marks the latest expansion of the fast-growing business unit, which launched in Germany earlier this year and already faces growing local demand for expertise in cross-border M&A strategies.

Working closely with A&M’s 120+ Corporate Finance professionals across EMEA, Mr. Ramme brings specialist expertise in software and tech-enabled business models, in addition to a broad network in the venture capital, private equity, start-up, and technology, media, and telecommunications (TMT) ecosystem – both in the DACH region and abroad.

Mr. Ramme is a seasoned corporate finance and investment professional, bringing more than 20 years of M&A and investment experience. He joins A&M from UK-based private equity firm Tenzing where, as Deal Lead and Head of DACH, he established the company in the DACH region and shaped a B2B software- and tech-enabled expansion strategy for its first investment outside the UK. Before that he served as a Managing Partner for M&A at KPMG, where he built, mentored and led the German TMT Practice during the pandemic. He also originated and successfully executed small- and mid-market software and tech-enabled services M&A transactions in the German-speaking regions, serving both national and international private equity firms and corporate buyers. Previously, he held senior roles at the Frankfurt-based investment banking boutique ACXIT Capital Partners and European media group ProSiebenSat.1.
