With more than 30 years of senior executive experience, Mr. Fox has served in Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer roles for several companies, leading them through business improvements, enhancements and reorganizations. He has conducted extensive mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, indenture and loan agreement negotiations, acquisitions and divestitures and restructurings with transaction / enterprise values in excess of $100 billion.
Mr. Fox recently served as Chief Restructuring Advisor to the board of a consumer electronics enterprise and as interim CEO of Jackson Hewitt Tax Services. Mr. Fox also served as Executive Vice President and global CFO of Lehman Brothers and its affiliates in connection with its bankruptcy proceedings and supervised the divestiture of a $2 billion Pan-Asian investment portfolio. Prior to this, he led a performance improvement engagement to redesign operating functions at one of the largest oil storage depots, and acted as advisor to a senior lending group in connection with a multi-facility contract manufacturer.
Prior to A&M, Mr. Fox was Executive Chairman of Nephros Inc. and Vice Chairman of Barington Capital. He was Chairman and CEO of Arcade Marketing Inc., where he led efforts to achieve substantial growth in revenue, profitability and market share, achieving P&G Pinnacle, ISO and FDA certifications. He also served as President of Strategic and Corporate Development for Revlon Worldwide and Chief Financial Officer and Senior EVP of Revlon Inc. Earlier, he was Senior Vice President and Global Treasurer of MacAndrews & Forbes Holdings Inc.
Mr. Fox earned a bachelor’s degree in public accounting and an MBA from Pace University. He has been a guest instructor at the graduate business schools of Harvard, New York University and The George Washington University, and is a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Fox served on the boards of many Lehman debtor and non-debtor, regulated and non-regulated affiliates, including Neuberger Berman, as well as Nephros, Inc. (Chairman), Sielox, Inc., MMCo., Inc., Register.com (Chairman), Arcade Marketing, Inc. (Chairman), Hain Food Group (Vice Chairman), Loehmann's Holdings, Inc. (Chairman), Cosmetic Centers Inc. (Vice Chairman) and Revlon, Inc. He currently serves on the New York Presbyterian Columbia Medical Center Hope & Heroes Cancer Fund board.
