Mr. Krishnamurthy specializes in strategic and operational consulting for global financial institutions. With more than 20 years of experience in retail banking, cards, mortgages as well as life and supplemental group insurance, he advises senior executives as they navigate complex transformational initiatives. He focuses on product and distribution strategies, international market entry, digital marketing, enterprise-wide cost reduction and operational effectiveness.
He recently led a multi-year digital marketing engagement for a global credit card issuer to transform its online marketing platform for the delivery of large scale, real-time contextualized advertising and promotional offers. Mr. Krishnamurthy’s team developed the targeting and customization framework utilizing both online and offline data and modeling. The team executed on the redesign of core digital marketing operations and legal and compliance processes to scale up as well as reduce lead times for the development and approval of online marketing assets.
Mr. Krishnamurthy’s work in operational transformation has yielded hundreds of millions of dollars annually to banking and insurance clients, resulting in measurable shareholder value relative to industry indexes. His work in this area has covered a range of sustainable productivity levers including process enhancements, role re-definitions, automation, outsourcing/offshoring and service delivery model redesign.
Mr. Krishnamurthy has worked extensively with global financial institutions such as Aflac, American Express, Capital One, Citigroup, JP Morgan Chase, KeyCorp, Lincoln Financial, Prudential, Regions, Torchmark, TD,and Unum.
Prior to A&M, Mr. Krishnamurthy was a Senior Manager with Monitor Deloitte. He advised clients on a wide array of strategic and operational issues, and served as a key member of the account team for a global financial institution. Prior to consulting, Mr. Krishnamurthy held a teaching position at the University of British Columbia. He appeared on Canadian television and radio to discuss his research on election markets.
Mr. Krishnamurthy earned a doctorate in applied economics from the Tepper School at Carnegie Mellon University and a bachelor’s degree in business from Gujarat University, India.
