With more than 20 years of industry, consulting and interim management experience, Mr. Skidmore has expertise across a variety of industries including: industrial products and services, consumer goods, automotive and energy. He is a well-established leader skilled at crafting solutions to complex business challenges and building high performance teams to deliver results.
His notable assignments include: serving as Vice President of Strategic Development and Vice President of Global Supply for a $2 billion automotive aftermarket company; serving as interim Vice President of Operations for a $200 million advanced glass fiber manufacturer and managing multiple operations and engineering resources and programs within the petrochemical industry for ExxonMobil and Huntsman Corporation.
Relevant client work includes: managing the assessment and implementation of multiple assessments and performance improvement initiatives and delivering significant EBITDA and working capital improvements; developing and leading a comprehensive restructuring plan to reposition the product line and supply chain for an industrial parts manufacturer; and assessing and designing the operations improvement plan for a leading provider of residential and industrial services.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Skidmore led multiple strategic and operational performance improvement engagements with A.T. Kearney and KPMG.
Mr. Skidmore earned a master's degree in business administration and industrial engineering from the J. L. Kellogg Graduate School of Business at Northwestern University, and a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Texas at El Paso.
