Mr. Crowell brings specialized experience in loan participations and loan syndications, loan loss reserve analysis and bank regulatory issues. He previously organized, raised capital for and operated community Banks throughout North Carolina and Atlanta. He has also led turnarounds of banks and successfully managed them through regulatory agreements.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Crowell served as CEO of a residential real estate golf development company. He led the turnaround resulting in the successful sale of the company’s holdings. Mr. Crowell has performed and led due diligence teams in the evaluation of sale transactions for banks, residential mortgage lending companies, residential real estate developments, golf courses and a specialty golf apparel company. He has negotiated contracts for the related sales transactions. Additionally, Mr. Crowell has evaluated and developed business and capital plans for financial institutions requiring regulatory approval.
Mr. Crowell earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and business administration from the University of Florida. He has served as an instructor of RMA’s commercial loan training classes at a regional bank and completed numerous banking courses and seminars.
