Mr. Maupin has both consulting and industry experience leading post-merger integration and restructuring efforts. He has consulted in a variety of industries including high-tech, oil and gas, health care and forest products.
His client experience includes: the post merger integration and restructuring of $4 billion dollar subsidiary of Japanese multinational; product strategy and business process improvement efforts for a $350 million software company; asset rationalization and organizational streamlining for the Canadian arm of a US multinational oil and gas company; design and implementation of a Pan-European shared services center for a $500 million test and measurement equipment company; and multiple process improvement engagements for a $39 billion dollar software company in the areas of finance, HR, operation, sales and marketing.
His industry experience includes leading a $70 million division of a health care staffing company and the chief operations officer of a software company.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Maupin served as a Vice President at Hitachi Consulting, where he led the Northern California Business Consulting Practice and National High Technology Practice. Before Hitachi Consulting, Mr. Maupin was a Partner with Andersen Business Consulting, responsible for the Pacific North West Customer and Channel Solutions practice.
Mr. Maupin earned a bachelor's degree in economics from Colorado College and a master's degree in international management from Thunderbird, the Garvin School of International Management.
