He is familiar with leading ERP, CRM and eCommerce architectures and can effectively map value-chains and business processes onto these architectures and build IT and digital roadmaps. Mr. Lacher is experienced in transforming IT capabilities and organisations to support new technology architectures and to deliver outstanding end-user service at the optimum cost base.
Mr. Lacher has successfully implemented multi-year transformation programmes, as well as carve-out and post merger integration projects. He delivered global SAP roll-outs, created shared service centers, consolidated infrastructure, improved eCommerce customer experience and matured sales and implementation channel partner networks in the high tech industry.
As Senior Director in Alvarez & Marsal, Mr. Lacher advises clients and delivers IT strategies and performance improvement programmes in retail, wholesale, ecommerce, online-services, high-tech, logistics and manufacturing.
Prior to A&M, Mr. Lacher held Senior IT, Business Improvement and Programme Director roles in mature companies, such as Siemens, Daimler-Benz, Oracle and Google. In addition, he has spent significant time "storming and norming" in start-up situations.
Mr. Lacher earned masters’ degrees in computer science and in electronics from the Technical University in Munich. He is a German national with work experience across Europe, the UK, the U.S. and the Caribbean.
