Mr. Lewinter has led multiple large scale transformations, including several global complex initiatives with a proven record of leading complex programs with a total budget exceeding $100 million and multi-functional teams of 150 + people (e.g., finance, business, operations, technology) across various international locations. In addition, he brings experience from the energy, manufacturing, consumer products, industrial products, hospitality and publishing sectors.
Some of Mr. Lewinter’s notable assignments include: Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch, JP Morgan Chase, Air Products Inc., Cendant Corporation, Hospitality Worldwide Services (HWS), Houghton Mifflin, Sequa and Olin Corporation
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Lewinter was President and CEO of ResHydro, where he set-up and led the operating company behind the technical development and commercialization of its proprietary hydropower technology. In that role he developed and managed the operational and financial infrastructure and managed all aspects of the business including technical, operational, financial, HR, IP strategy, and vendor negotiation and management. He defined market opportunities, secured capital investment and successfully orchestrated global partnership strategy between the U.S. and the U.K.
Prior to that, Mr. Lewinter was a program management executive at J.P. Morgan, where he successfully led several complex and high profile technical and organization initiatives that spanned several business areas and geographies and reported to the senior leadership of the investment bank, commercial bank and corporate controller. Prior to J.P. Morgan, Mr. Lewinter was Senior Manager in Arthur Andersen’s (later BearingPoint’s) business consulting practice focused in the financial services, merger integration, and strategy and people practices.
He has developed and conducted training for more than 200 project managers, clients and consultants in the areas of program and project management and merger integration.
Mr. Lewinter earned two master’s degrees from Columbia University in economics, management and policy and in organizational psychology. He also has a bachelor’s degree with honors from the University of Vermont.
