He brings 25 years of international finance leadership experience, as well as 22 years of Board of Directors competence. He has spent 15 years building strong capabilities in working with joint ventures and 11 years as an accomplished Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for companies listed on the NYSE, EURONEXT, SIX and the KRX. Mr. Wirahadiraksa has worked across a range of industries including, building materials, domestic appliances and personal care, healthcare, lighting displays, components, and consumer electronics.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Wirahadiraksa was Group CFO of LafargeHolcim, leading the financial integration of the merger between Lafarge and Holcim. This led to the realization of CHF 1 billion in synergies and CHF 4.4 billion in divestments, as well as a 50% improvement in average debt duration to six years through significant capital market transactions. He also launched a single-source-of-truth based global financial reporting system focusing on key performance metrics and analytics and led finance excellence through the ‘One Finance’ initiative, resulting in improved performance management.
Additionally, Mr. Wirahadiraksa served as Group CFO of Royal Philips where he redefined the group equity story, based on the new HealthTech-strategy, while driving performance to meet the target of 10% EBITA. He also redesigned and led the implementation of the global finance function based on centers of expertise and developed a strong global finance leadership team focused on performance and led an overhead cost reduction program realizing €1.3 billion in savings.
Mr. Wirahadiraksa led the concurrent dual listing of LG Display (formerly named LG. Philips LCD) on both the NYSE and the KRX. His responsibilities as CFO further included overseeing capital expenditures of $3-5 billion that enabled an average 30% sales growth and value creation and oversaw the company’s operations in collaboration with the CEO.
Mr. Wirahadiraksa earned a master’s degree in business economics and a post-graduate degree as a certified Controller from the Free University of Amsterdam. He has worked and lived in Europe, Asia and the United States. He is fluent in Dutch and English and proficient in German with basic knowledge of French, Greek and Korean.
