Mr. Davies brings more than 20 years of experience in information technology engineering, operations, project management, infrastructure, security and application development. His consulting competencies focus on delivering business technology transformations, divestures, carve-outs, complex system integration projects, data and network security, risk mitigation, electronic commerce, cloud-based services and supply chain integration.
Most recently, Mr. Davies assumed an interim leadership role with a well-known healthcare provider. His work in information technology operations, project management, engineering, security and governance were key components supporting the divestiture and subsequent carve-out of a new publicly traded organization. During his tenure, Mr. Davies facilitated operational savings in excess of $2.5 million, avoided and/or reduced software licensing costs of more than $20 million, and led a project management initiative that stood up a secure, hybrid cloud and applications infrastructure for the new company.
Prior to assuming his consulting role, Mr. Davies was responsible for A&M's global infrastructure, operations, service desk, security and project management functions. During his seven-year tenure, he successfully delivered more than 300 projects for the firm.
Mr. Davies background includes significant exposure to many industries including professional services, healthcare, not-for-profit, supply chain management, industrial distribution, technical sales, staffing and electronic commerce.
He earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Southern Polytech / Georgia Institute of Technology. He is a Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and is certified across all ITIL disciplines (Service Strategy, Design, Transition, Operations and Continual Service Improvement).
