Mr. Lewis is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Corporate Performance Improvement in Los Angeles. He brings expertise in supply chain operational improvement, cost reduction and growth strategies.

With more than 25 years of experience, Mr. Lewis has served in key leadership and transformational roles across a range of industries, including aerospace and defense, automotive, high technology, communications and financial management companies. He has lead cross-functional teams on large-scale, multi-divisional supply chain optimization projects, including strategy, ERP implementations, procurement operations, supplier relationship management and post-merger integration. He has held senior positions at Ford, General Motors, Boeing and Northrop Grumman. His Global Fortune 1000 consulting clients include Boeing, AT&T, Ariba, JP Morgan, American Express, Cisco and Credit Suisse.

As a Senior Director of Corporate Supply Chain Operations for a major aerospace company, Mr. Lewis established a corporate-shared service organization, including supply chain strategy, technology, sourcing and procurement departments, responsible for oversight of $8.5 billion of annual spend supporting four operating companies. He also oversaw corporate supplier rationalization and commodity management initiatives. While Director of Global Procurement for a Fortune 500 information technology company, his responsibilities included oversight of $3.7 billion of global annual indirect and direct spend for a $6 billion information technology business sector, including both domestic and international suppliers, and served as Chairman of the Corporate Supply Risk Management Council.

As Director of Supply Chain and Program Management at a major defense and aerospace corporation, Mr. Lewis was accountable for supplier partner integration, subcontract management, warehouse and logistics and field operations in support for various government and commercial programs and an organization of 650 people.

Mr. Lewis’ recent consulting projects consist of leading several supply chain projects, including spend management and technology / system integration initiatives for several leading global financial management and manufacturing companies. Established a $60M group purchasing organization solution for a national membership company’s supply chain network. He has also served as the Program Manager for strategic supplier and inventory cost-reduction initiatives for several major aerospace and high-tech companies.

Mr. Lewis earned bachelor’s degrees in business administration and political science from the University of California. He is a member of the National Contracts Management Association, and is APICS (The Association for Operations Management) and CPM certified.
