Mr. Gardner brings over 25 years of tax experience and specializes in corporate and partnership tax, corporate structuring, income tax accounting, and in-bound international tax.
Mr. Gardner's experience includes international and domestic tax, both in-house and as a consultant, for inbound and outbound multinational corporations. He advises multinational companies on income tax accounting, effective tax rate planning, acquisitions and divestitures.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Gardner was a managing partner of WTS U.S. Prior to WTS, he was the Vice President of Tax Planning and Tax Accounting at Royal Ahold. Previously, Mr. Gardner was with KPMG in Boston and Frankfurt, Germany. In Frankfurt, Mr. Gardner spent several years providing U.S. tax consulting services to DAX-30 companies, including income tax provision review for foreign registrants of the Security Exchange Commission (SEC).
Mr. Gardner earned his bachelor's degree in accounting from Northeastern University, a master's degree in taxation from Suffolk University and master's degree in mathematics for teaching from Harvard University Extension School. Mr. Gardner is a Certified Public Accountant.
