During Mr. Wisler’s 22 years as a corporate finance consulting practitioner, he has been involved in more than 650 valuation, financial consulting, transaction support and buy-side / sell-side advisory projects encompassing a wide range of industries with significant concentration within the energy, financial services and healthcare sectors.

Projects managed by Mr. Wisler have been used to facilitate transactions, to support positions of fairness and solvency and to provide guidance to state and federal regulatory agencies (e.g., State Departments of Insurance, Offices of the Attorney General, Securities and Exchange Commission, State Legislators and the Internal Revenue Service).

Mr. Wisler has also performed engagements involving the prospective rating of a company or elements of its capital structure, adequacy of capital and capital surplus in connection with a material dividend declaration, and assessments of the commercial terms of inter-company debt and preferred stock.

Mr. Wisler is a member of the Alvarez & Marsal business unit that executes all of the firm’s transaction opinion projects (e.g., solvency, fairness), is a standing member of their transaction opinion Senior Review Committee, and was formerly the National Director of Fairness Opinion Services for Standard & Poor’s.

As a result of Mr. Wisler’s broad valuation and corporate finance advisory experience, he has been engaged as an expert and provided analysis and reports on valuation and transaction opinion issues contested in connection with various litigation matters. He has been accepted by courts as an expert in the areas of valuation, fairness opinions, solvency opinions, and board process. He has provided testimony before the New York State Supreme Court and the Chancery Court of Delaware and has also been published on these topics.

Mr. Wisler earned a bachelor's degree in finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a masters degree in business administration with concentrations in accounting and finance from Drexel University. His professional affiliations include the American Society of Appraisers, National Association of Corporate Directors and the Association for Corporate Growth.
