Mr. Hjelm brings more than 10 years of experience leading large and complex buy-side and sell-side financial and integrated due diligence projects. Further, he has also advised on pre-sale reviews, restructuring engagements, IPOs and SPA related matters. Mr. Hjelm has worked across multiple sectors, primarily focusing on private equity clients (PE).
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Hjelm served with KPMG in Sweden and spent two years in the Private Equity Group in London. In addition to his due diligence background, Mr. Hjelm worked at Nordic Capital as a member of the Controlling and Valuation team, working on a broad range of topics covering both the Nordic Capital funds and portfolio companies.
While at KPMG, Mr. Hjelm headed the Private Equity Group and was responsible for the Nordic Capital account. His selected private equity transactions experience has included buy-side due diligence on SKF Motion Technologies, Envirotainer, Ramudden, Skandia Liv Denmark, BTI Studios, DocuNordic, Faerch Plast, Cibes Lift, SPS Process Systems, Instalco, Bygghemma & Furniture Box, Stork Technical services, CRF Health and Call Credit. Sell-side experience includes vendor due diligence projects on Dellner Couplers Group, Coor Service Management and Sanitec Oy.
Mr. Hjelm earned a master’s degree in finance from Linköping University, including an exchange semester at the University of Adelaide.
