Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Jain served as the President, CEO and Managing Director of OCM Private Limited, India's second largest men's formal fabric apparel retailer. He was called by the Board of Directors to head Sales and Marketing at OCM in 2010 and was subsequently made the CEO in 2014. At OCM, Mr. Jain was responsible for revenues of over INR 2,000 Million, 1400 retail touch points, 300 staff and 1100 wage employees. Under him, OCM's revenues grew by 65%, plant utilization was up from 48% to 85%, receivable days were down by 55%, profitability was maintained and the brand, its corporate identity and marketing strategy were completely restructured. At OCM he recrafted their brand portfolio and overhauled the product design, and sales policy.
Before OCM, Mr. Jain worked with Burlington Industries (now ITG) in United States, then was Country Head (India) for Burlington House. He was also associated with Nano-Tex as Senior Vice President and Global Technology Head based out of Hong Kong, where his responsibilities included licensing and transfer of technology to more than 75 mills worldwide. Throughout his career, Mr. Jain ran an offshore buying office, a global technology transfer team, worked on global corporate strategy, divestitures, mergers and acquisitions and managed joint venture collaborations spanning Germany, Taiwan and USA.
Mr. Jain earned a masters degree in business administration from Duke University and a bachelor's in mechanical engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology.
