
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Kouznetsov worked for Sberbank Group, the largest banking group in the Russian Federation, with net assets exceeding € 340 billion. As a Managing Director he led the department of subsidiary banks and was a member of the Supervisory Board in Denizbank, SBE, Sberbank of Russia in Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Belorussia. Mr. Kouznetsov led the workgroup engaged in the acquisition and integration of Deniz Bank.
Before that, Mr. Kouznetsov was employed by Bank VTB, where he served as a Senior Vice President, Head of Department of Subsidiary Banks, Member of the Bank Group Management Committee, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of subsidiary banks in Austria, Germany, France, Armenia, Belorussia, Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board in Ukraine. His responsibilities included corporate governance of banks in Austria, Germany, France, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Armenia, Angola, Vietnam and branches in India and China; corporate business management in subsidiary banks, asset management of subsidiary banks in the amount of USD 12 billion.
Prior to that, Mr. Kouznetsov took a number of executive position at JSC “Ilyushin Finance Co.”, JSC “Silovye Mashiny”, JSC “Aeroflot – Russian Airways”, Bank “Menatep” and others.
Mr. Kouznetsov earned a Ph.D. in economics from State Management Academy in Moscow, and a master’s degree in finance from Ecole Superieure des Affaires, Universite Grenoble. A Russian national, Mr. Kouznetsov is fluent in Russian, English and French.
